Our acrylic lecterns are made in our factory in Warwickshire, UK, and are often ready for sale as they are kept in stock. Perfect for use with one of our custom podiums, our acrylic lecterns are durable and stable, incorporating both modern styling and excellent value. We construct our products with the highest quality materials, ensuring that they have a great deal of strength without the need for screws and other fixings (which can detract from the appearance of the lectern itself). Some of our acrylic designs are equipped with a removable front panel, which can be branded with a logo made from a variety of materials. Ask about our options – we can craft lectern logos from clear, frost, and coloured acrylic, as well as aluminium.

We are pleased to offer the first of what we are sure will be an expanding range of eco-friendly lecterns. These lecterns are made entirely from recycled and recyclable GreenCast acrylic sheet, and are durable and contemporary.

We offer our eco lecterns for sale from our factory in Warwickshire, and they can be supplied across the UK. Perfect for educational or religious applications, these eco lecterns not only fit in with existing spaces, but also provide a green and eco-friendly alternative to traditional lecterns.

We often have a stock of lecterns in the UK that are classed as refurbished, used, B-Grade or prototypes, and often run incredible offers and sales on these. It is always worth calling our sales line to see what we have in stock, as we don’t always list these lecterns on the website. Often our sale products are “one-offs” and sell very quickly, so don’t forget to keep checking to see what we have on offer!

Looking for a specific lectern? Here at Nova Lecterns we can take commissions to create personalised lecterns for a range of services, to meet your specific needs. For example, we can add castors for aid in transporting the lectern, as well as cable management, personalised lighting, noise cancelling microphone mounts to podiums and more. We can also add perfectly fitting inset mounts to our podiums for any tablet device, dependent on your specification. If you’re looking for various colours, we can also accommodate this, offering many variations on the standard clear Perspex that we use in many of our products.

The sale of our first lectern was to a church. As the business of Nova Lecterns grew, we often find that our new customers are often found through “word of mouth” between churches! From the portable fold flat Topaz model, ideal for the mobile preacher, to the imposing solid wood Sovereign model, we have a large range of church lecterns that can be long-lasting portable pieces or permanent, striking fixtures in churches across the UK.

London  2012 Paralympic Games

Nova Lecterns was commissioned to manufacture a pair of bespoke lecterns for the opening and closing ceremonies of the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

The sculptures on the speech lecterns, created by artist Tony Heaton – himself a former wheelchair basketball international and now chief executive of the disability arts organisation Shape – were formed from parts of sports wheelchairs and running blades. We mounted the parts on a lectern made from 25mm clear acrylic sheet.

Uniquely, the lecterns had to be mountable in purpose-built slots in the stage, which enabled them to be conveniently removed and repositioned for the many planned events.
